Ultimate electronic music festival for creative economy

Somsak Panitchayakul, Deputy Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property, presided over the opening ceremony for the electronic music festival for creative economy 2012. In this event, there will be electronic music concerts by famous Thai and foreign artists and the IP DJ Hunt 2012 Competition to seek for the best electronic music artist. The objective of this festival is to encourage and support Thai youth to be aware of the value and importance of music as an intellectual property as well as to encourage creativity and seek for the new rising DJ for the music industry in order to upgrade the Thai music to the world standard. The festival was held at Bali Hai Pier, Pattaya during 30 March – 1 April 2012.
